Wifi on the London underground

Hi, I’m a new customer on monthly billing, first bill paid on time but still can not use the wifi on the tube (Virgin Media or Wifi Extra).

On the Virgin splash screen, when I enter the o2 number it says an error occurred. Never generates a one time password or anything like that. Worked fine in other o2 hotspots, just not the tube!

Customer care took my MAC address, told me to try to register first time above ground to get the SMS but none of this worked. Anyone able to advise please.

The Virgin Media Tube WiFi is a complete nightmare to be honest, and it affects all mobile networks, when im in London for work, i don't even try it anymore...

Did you port your number in or migrate from PAYG by any chance?

Have you had a look at the TFL guide at all
https://tfl.gov.uk/campaign/station-wifi

Also above ground isn't always the VM wifi service but provided by TheCloud

If you have I would go back to Customer Services.
