I odered a phone online as a new customer 3 weeks ago received an email saying it was out of stock but it would be with me soon Have had no contact till now. Phoned the number on the contract and spoke to a very rude agent who said it was out of stock and i could cancel it. He was very insistent i order another one via telephone and provide my bank details and when i refused he said thank you for wasting my time. Wondering if it was a scam at this point in time. But text messages and email had the o2 logo when i ordered....

You'll need to call customer service to see what's going on with your order.
Numbers here Guide: Coronavirus Community Help and Support
When it comes to the reason you are calling stay silent for 15 seconds and you will be taken to the keypad options.
Press 2 for Everything Else
Press 5 for More Options
Press 7 for Anything Else which will put you though to someone.
Say "Upgrade", "Lost/Stolen" or "Fraud" if you have to, to get put through to someone.
8.00am is the best time to call if you can.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

You will need to contact customer services, as the person you spoke to was talking garbage.

You need to call 202 from your mobile.
If you call 202, when it comes to the reason you are calling, stay silent for 15 seconds and you will be taken to the keypad options.
Press 2 for Everything Else

Press 5 for More Options
Press 7 for Anything Else which will put you though to someone
