What do I do after completing the keep your number form?

I had a pay monthly contract with a different provider and then moved to O2. To keep my number I have filled in the keep your number form using the PAC code and my information. However, like a dummy, I forgot to take a picture of the information that came up after I filled the form in. All I remember is that it mentioned something about turning my phone on and off until I get service. I have been doing that for hours now and it still has not worked and I can't connect to the wifi. I am now left wondering if there is something I have forgotten- can anyone help me out?

@LittleWoof19

Were you told the changeover would be today?

If so, and your old sim has stopped working, it can take up to 24 hours.

If you still don't have service tomorrow morning, call O2 via Skype if there's no other phone you can use.

You'll need to call customer service.
Numbers here Guide: Coronavirus Community Help and Support
When it comes to the reason you are calling stay silent for 15 seconds and you will be taken to the keypad options.
Press 2 for Everything Else
Press 5 for More Options
Press 7 for Anything Else which will put you though to someone.
Say "Upgrade", "Lost/Stolen" or "Fraud" if you have to, to get put through to someone.
8.00am is the best time to call if you can.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

@MI5 I have not gotten an official text or email on it but on the email I got it said it would happen by 6pm yesterday. I think it has sorted itself out I'm not sure? It allows me to link to a friends hotspot but not the house wifi (not been connected to the wifi before i'm not sure if that plays a part). I have been rang using the number I wanted to keep and it came through, and I have been able to send texts. My 4G looks like its working. I may not need to call, but thank you for the advice just incase I need it slight_smile

@LittleWoof19

All sounds OK to me.

You'll need to enter the password for your wifi if it's a new connection.
