How do I block my phone from ever calling 09 premium rate numbers?

Premium number bars used to be standard and you had to call to remove the bar. Perhaps they should revert to that....

But then they wouldn't be able to have people run up bills in the thousands that they can't afford to pay off! It's a good moneyspinner, even when they do offer a 'generous' discount (which they don't unless you push for it).

Common sense says mobile will cost more than landlines. I'd double check the price of a 'not so normal' number before I called it.
