Voicemail stopped working - how to reinstate?

Anonymous
Not applicable

People have started saying they can't leave a message for me.

I tried from a landline, and got cut off after 30 seconds, without it going to voicemail.

I've dialled in to 901 and been through the mailbox and voicemail settings, but can't find anything that says "turn voicemail on".

Anyone got any ideas?

1750 to turn on

1760 to turn off

If you have TU installed do it through the app

Hi Marjo,

No, dialing 1750 just comes up with "Invalid number" and doesn't enable the voicemail.

It is showing as already enabled in the TU app.

Any other ideas?

Remove TU, reset phone, dial1750.

Finally it works!

Now, if I could just get this damn website to recognise my password... grrrr.

Thanks everyone.

They need to rethink the whole voicemail and TU setup. I switched voicemail on via TU as a necessity in hospital, now it won't switch off via TU or the dial pad. I'm going to have to delete TU now to sort it out. So annoying!
