Everytime I restart my phone or need to switch it back on, I get a text saying "Thanks for Activating Visual Voicemail..."

Is there any way I can turn off the text messages? I want to keep visual voicemail, but the text message is repetitive?

@Rose_Requiem I believe you need to ask customer service to switch the notification off for you.

Guide: Coronavirus Community Help and Support

Because you're not buying anything, O2 doesn't consider your call important, so use the Upgrade, Lost/Stolen, or Fraud option to get through. Otherwise you'll just be disconnected.

Below is alternative advice from an O2 Guru on how to get through.
Call 202 from your mobile.
When it comes to the reason you are calling, stay silent for 15 seconds and you will be taken to the keypad options.
Press 2 for Everything Else
Press 5 for More Options
Press 7 for Anything Else which will put you though to someone.

Best time to call is 8 am.

@Rose_Requiem

It's a known bug with VVM on Android.

O2 have said that they hope to fix it soon, but the only current workaround is to switch off VVM unfortunately.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
