I am in Mauritius and can't phone the UK. Does my number or phone need to be enabled to work over here

Did you check if 8ou had roaming enabled before you went?

It's usually set up as standard and just requires you to use +44 and drop the first zero of the area code.

Try selecting a different network manually.

O2's roaming partner for Mauritius is MTML. If you check this link there are some things you should have done before you travelled?
