Is there any way to get my old device unlocked with out having to wait a week for the unlock code ,

You need to request the unlock here Guide: Unlocking an O2 phone to use a different SIM card 

It usually only takes a couple of days at most.

I read that someone else managed to get there’s unlocked in two hours ,I was hoping to reward step daughter with my old phone for being good whilst being in lockdown
