Unlock contract phone after number has been transferred

Anonymous
Not applicable

Hi all,

I wish to buy my friends 5C O2 contract phone. Normally you go into MyO2, select your device, and unlock it.

However, they have already transferred their number to their new phone and SIM, so the 5C now has no signal. As such, it obviously can't now receive the unlock signal from O2.

In this scenario, how would you unlock the phone?

TIA

Ask him to submit the form and quote the IMEI number of the 5C and there won't be any problem
