I have been unable to make or receive any calls on my mobile. Text messages, data et al, all OK. inability to make or receive any calls to or from either other mobiles or land lines were noticed at 9:20am on 14th May 2020. O2 have been totally unhelpful by not having any facility to give assistance. I do not accept the Covid-19 virus as being a valid excuse. My calls were urgent and I am VERY disappointed with the O2 service, or lack of it. I bet there is no reduction in the monthly bill for this incompetence.

@Terrior

There was a network fault. Supposedly fixed.

From O2

Actually, a network issue is very strange. My wife is alo on O2 with the same iPhone as me and her phone works fine. No problems.

Thank you to all. Patience was required after all. My frustration began when I couldn't contact anyone at O2 to verify where the problem of my non-connectivity lay. Was it O2, or was a fault on my iPhone, et al?

I contacted Apple who said they would call me back in 5 minutes and they did. Most impressive. They gave me various tasks to isolate the problem. After performing the tasks it was obviously not an iPhone issue.

I persisted in trying all the suggestions made by the O2 Community and eventually, at 10:30pm my phone began to work properly again.
