Hi

I'm travelling to America for holiday.  I've searched O2 website and that confirms USA is included but how do I activate it?

Thank you in advance and please be patient I'm disabled so I'm not always able to reply straight away.

Kindest regards

@Harry37 - depends on if you are on a monthly contract or PAYG:   https://www.o2.co.uk/international/using-your-phone-abroad

And read USA - Roaming with O2

Good luck!

Make sure you have 4G calling enabled,

https://www.o2.co.uk/help/network-coverage-and-international/travelling-to-the-usa

and manually search for any network, even if it says "Forbidden".

You will need to enable roaming and data roaming on your phone, and check, if using an iPhone, that idata.o2.co.uk is enabled and set as your APN - otherwise set it to "mobile.o2.co.uk" when you get there.

Good luck!

@Harry37 To add to the advice from @pgn, the two major networks you can connect to in the US are AT&T and T-Mobile. The strength of either network depends on where you are.

I DO NOT WORK FOR O2
