Does anyone know the cheapest wat to call from thailand back to the uk

Tugo on wifi if you are on contract or skype, line viber ect if others in the uk have the same apps.

Local sim cards are reasonably cheap over there too, we are told, so you could use a local sim to provide data for Tugo and use it away from wifi too.
You will need to unlock your phone though to do this.

As said, if you are on contract use TuGo, calls over wifi come from your allowance when calling UK numbers or texting UK numbers.

If your phone is unlocked get a local sim, dial 05 before the UK number for calls back to the UK at around 10p/min.

As advised, get your friends to install messanger, skype, whatsapp, line or viber. Calls are free over wifi, app to app.
