Travel 24 hour time period

I have signed up for the O2 travel bolt on.  It says the 24 hour time period starts from first usage but is that UK time zone i.e. BST or local time zones for example US Central Daylight time which is 5 hours behind the UK?

 

Any help gratefully received.
