Transferring emails to new email account?

Anonymous
Not applicable
O2 have advised that they're closing their free email service saying that it's simple to transfer existing mails once you've set up a new account. I've set up a hotmail account and found it easy to transfer mails from my inbox, however O2 gurus have advised that the only way to transfer mails from other O2 mail folders is to forward them on a mail by mail basis, which is far from simple when you have hundreds of mails! I asked therm to escalate but despite chasing have had no response so far and time is ticking. Has anyone else managed to get a response from O2 on this? Any ideas welcome. Thanks slight_smile

No. But mail can be transferred from custom folders to the inbox in batches of 50 at a time.

To be honest I wouldn't expect any help from O2 with only a few days to go before it shuts down.

O2 Broadband customers don't have to worry just yet.

I suppose you can move the emails from folders back to the inbox in batches.

Unfortunately O2 mail doesn't support IMAP.
