Hi, I just want to get a number transferred to my son, now that he is an adult. He has tried calling 202 from his phone over the last few weeks, and has waited and waited, eventually given up. We now live in different places due to lockdown, so it would be difficult for us to make a call together. Surely there must be a better way to do this? Thank you

It is not possible to just transfer a contract to a different name.

Your son would need to apply for his own contract and pass credit checks, you can then transfer the number to the new contract which cancels the old contract at the same time.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)
