Texts not being received

Having an issue receiving texts from someone, but not all texts. Receiving about 50% from my other half, and I've seen the texts on her phone that she's sent. Mine all getting through, seems pretty common issue. Tried changing networks, and cleaning SIM. Nowt working, any ideas.

Hi @Haych76 Have you checked your network status https://status.o2.co.uk/

If this is ok....you may need a new sim. Going instore is the quickest way to get one

I wold suggest calling into your O2 store and getting a new sim card. It's free and is quick & easy.

You could also try putting your sim in another phone to see if any stuck texts come through. That way you can find out if your phone is at fault.

Status is fine, and I'm getting all texts from other people no problems at all.

Then unless you have inadvertantly blocked the number in question it really sounds like a sim issue. A new one is free so try that before anything else @Haych76

Have you also tried deleting  each other's contact details?

If I'd blocked the number that wouldn't explain why I'm getting 50% of the messages being sent to me.

Of course not.....so as we have ruled out most things by a process of elimination, I would opt for a new sim @Haych76.
