I am writing to ask if you are able to advise me how to resolve a problem with my phone contracts. Currently i have an account for my mobile phone. My son also has an O2 package . A couple of Chritmases ago he wanted a new phone the Samsung galaxy S9. Rather than buy it new, i updated my device to the S9 and let him have it. Since then when his actual device came up for renewal he updated the device on his account to the Huawei that i wanted. We're therefore using each others phones. Is there a way we can transfer the devices over officially to allow future upgrades to be less complicated.. My son has no issue changing his number but i would like to keep the one for my account. Any ideas on a way forward would be gratefully received.

@Graeme25

Upgrades are account dependant not phone dependant so it doesn't matter who uses which phone.

You just upgrade when available on the account.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)
