I received a weird text from a number I didn't recognise saying "DO NOT ignore text. We will be attending *my address* within 7 days to resolve balance or list good for removal" These people did not say who they are. The number is a long number with 11 digits starting with the number 3.

Check your MyO2 to see if you have unpaid bills or have had contract termnated http://www.o2.co.uk/myo2
Also, be wary of numerous scams going around currently, so might also be a good idea to call O2 to confirm or deny it.

Incidentally @SJ71
Did you get the payment issue resolved?
If not, it could well be a genuine text from O2's debt collectors.

@SJ71 If there is confusion between the text you've received and the email, it would be best for you to call customer service in the morning. Best time to try to get through is 8 am. Below is the advice from an O2 Guru on how to get through.
Call 202 from your mobile.
When it comes to the reason you are calling, stay silent for 15 seconds and you will be taken to the keypad options.
Press 2 for Everything Else
Press 5 for More Options
Press 7 for Anything Else which will put you though to someone.
I will also tag the O2 online account advisors to get in touch with you in the morning. @O2Georgina or @O2Elliott can you please advise @SJ71?
