Student discount code used too many times

Anonymous
Not applicable
Hi, I've applied several times for a 20% student discount, but after texting my code to 61202 I get a reply saying 'the code has been used too many times over the last six months'. In store and over the phone have both told me I'm definitely eligible for the discount (although my 28 days are nearly up). I've now also contacted UNiDAYS to see if they can issue a new code.

Hi @Anonymous Not sure why this would be creating a problem. Your best bet is to contact customer services I think? http://www.o2.co.uk/contactus

I have double checked again and you appear to have done everything correctly.http://www.o2.co.uk/studentoffer  CS is your only chance now I think...

If you are applying for a new code I don't understand how it can have been used previously. Must be a system issue and you need to call customer service. Please don't try to get this resolved by live chat.

I have contacted customer services and they suggested contacting UniDAYS and getting a new code. I have done so, and O2 seemed to accept it, but have not yet applied it.

You should see it applied to your next bill. It won't show in My O2 but will automatically be deducted from the second bill.

Like I said, a new code.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
