Strange text problem

I can phone my freind and talk she can phone me and talk ok, she can text me ok but I can't text her, I do a *0# test message to her and it comes up on my phone "message delivered" but nothing appears on her phone  I am on 02 she is on Vodafone any ideas please?

Does the SMS number depend on network and tariff? Ie the number your phone dials in order to send a message? Just a thought...

Works OK with chenged number Vodafone must have blocked me
