Can someone please help me? I am no longer with O2, I switched in August to another provider but I am still getting texts and emails from O2 as if I were still a customer of theirs. I tried to unsubscribe from the email but it said they still need a way to contact me so wouldn’t let me unsubscribe. Why do they need to contact me? I am no longer a customer.

They do have to keep some details for legal and regulatory purposes.
But you should be able to unsubscribe from all marketing - call customer services on 0344 809 0202 or reply STOP to any of there messages.
They legally have to stop if you tell them to.
