I keep receiving calls and texts asking for someone that I do not know, so they either share the same mobile number as me or are consistently entering their number wrong. This has been happening for almost 2 years now and is really starting to bug me. What can I do?- I would like to avoid changing my number if at all possible?!

@Anne2

It's impossible for anyone else to have the same number as you.

Are you sure this isn't someone trying to annoy you deliberately?

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

@Anne2 There is a scam practice known as 'number spoofing'. Someone could possibly be making calls masquerading as your number. There's lots online about it, but at the moment, there's little you can do, short of changing your number which can cause major headaches.
