Simultaneously use O2 dongle, and WiFi printer ??

Anonymous

Hi,

I got an O2 internet dongle, which is great.

The driver software "connection manager" also appears to take over control of the laptop's WiFi function. I think this is to allow automatic switching to the home WiFi when it comes in range, saving the dongle allowance.

I'm considering to ditch my landline and use the dongle in the home as well.

But my printer is on WiFi. Is there any way I can simultaneously log into the O2 network for internet, and also into the home WiFi for printing?

The connection manager seems to offer connection to only one network at a time, with cellular and WiFi networks appearing in a single list.

Any knowledge much appreciated.
