Hello.

I have just completed a 2yr contract with o2 & have been very happy with the service. I want to go onto the simplicity sim for 12months and I just need to know if I can get a free upgrade whilst on simplicity??

After 3 months you can upgrade to a full phone contract. If you want to upgrade before then just go on a 30 day sim.

You can upgrade after 3 months on sim only

Many people choose this option.

Phone may not be free (depending on your chosen tariff).
If you are on a 30 day contract you can upgrade at any time to a full phone contract.

Hi @Anonymous ,

Just one little thing I need to clarify: on the 12 months Sim only tariffs under £20 you can upgrade to a handset tariff as mentioned but the £20/£21 tariffs, you need 6 months on it until you are allowed to upgrade to a handset tariff.
