Sim activation problem

I recently bought a new phone that needed a nano sim. So I went to my local 02 shop to get it and the assistant did the swap process for me. Told me to wait 24 hours for activation.

4 days later, old sim was still active and no service on new phone. Tried to do the process myself by following 02 online instructions. Also did not work. Went back to 02, they gave me another new nano sim and told me again to wait 24 hours. That has come and gone and still nothing. I’m at a bit of a loss with this. No idea what the issue is. All other functions work fine on new phone only service is problem. I’ve tried rebooting both devices multiple times as well. Nothing seems to be working. 

 

Im on a payasyougo plan (which to be fair is ancient) and swapping from a wileyfox swift to a honour 8a if that’s any help.

@Hexus13 all I can suggest is that you call customer services on 4445.

If you could check it I would be so grateful!

I went to my 02 shop for a third time yesterday and it was the same all over again. I'm getting very frustrated by the whole thing. I don't know why this is causing such a problem.

Just a quick update. Thanks to the kind @EmilieT  I finally got service on my new phone! Very happy and grateful for the swift resolution!
