Signal coverage within buildings

Anonymous
Not applicable

In certain rooms of my house I get very patchy Mobile phone signal, from any provider, signal comes and goes at any time of day and in all weathers.

Is there anything that can be done to improve the situation, devices installed, cables laid, witch doctor brought in?

JUst the nature of buildings at present o2 offer no solution unless your are a business customer. (boostbox uses home dsl)

A solution that uses home wifi on a smartphone app is on its way for the rest but keeps being delayed

Hopefully the Tu Go app will be available very soon so if you have wi-fi you can use that to make calls, but there seems to be a delay.

You could try setting your phone to receive 2g signals only whilst at home. It may help to stabilise the signal.
