I have a parcel coming in Monday and it states in the email I will have to sign for it. Is this something I have to do with Covid-19 going about? Is there a way around this?

@Telle

The courier will place parcel on your doorstep then stand back.

You will then have your photo taken holding the package, as I did yesterday.

No physical contact at all.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

I don't think you will sign anything. Probably they will leave the parcel at your doorstep or in your cupboard if there is any out there. They might Knock on your door to let you know they are there and then leave it behind so you can pick up after they leave

Or as happened to me...knock on the door, wait till I go to door, they stand back 2 metres and sign themselves that you have received it...

My son works for Parcelforce and he is not allowed to let anyone sign for anything.

None of the couriers are.
Amazon, DPD, RM and Hermes all dropping on doorstep and standing back whilst you answer the door.
