Samsung Galaxy S2

My husband bought me a Samsung Galaxy S2 as a birthday present.  Have had nothing but problems with it.  It randomly switches itself off.  There is no pattern to it.  Then it takes ages to switch back on again, you have to press the on switch up to 20 times before it comes back on.  Anyone else had this problem?  Anyone else had a satisfactory solution?

 

02 have sent it away twice to their repair centre and say they can't find anything wrong with it - hence it hasn't actually been repaired. 

 

They now state that if it has to be sent away a third time they will just replace it with a 2nd hand refurbished phone.  This phone was my birthday present from my husband - I do now want someone else's cast off.  My phone is still under warranty.

 

02 attitude basically is - tough.  Am so unhappy with the service I have been receiving.  Never buying from 02 again.
