I live in the middle of nowhere with very slow landline broadband. I can get a decent 4G signal from one window!
Does anyone know if I can purchase one of the data only SIM contracts and use it in a 4G hub which I can install with an external antenna.
I know in the past, it would be considered tethering but have been told its not an issue now?
Anybody in the know?

Yes that's fine.
You can do that no problem as long as it is a data only sim.

Thanks very much for the speedy reply! Another question that you may or may not know. My strongest signal is from 02 which is also where all my phones are from. The SIM only contracts from O2 also include unlimited calls and texts, so would these not be considered data only? if so how do you get a data only SIM on O2?

You must choose from the mobile broadband sims here https:/wwwwo22.coukk/shopsimm-cardssimm-only-dealsdeviceTypee=othercontractLengthhP12MM
Phone sims, with calls and texts, are not allowed in broadband devices.
