SIM for text messaging UK and Australia (amongst others!)

 Hi, I am based in the UK and I need to purchase a couple of SIMS.

I need to have the SIMs location in a device in the UK, and sending to/receiving from devices in Australia, Namibia, Somalia, New Zealand, UK and various others around the world. No data is required as the SMS messages are to sent AT commands to modems, but would like unlimited or high level text messaging.

Please can someone advise the best deal and/or way of buying this and getting the SIMs shipped to my UK address?

I would look at some of the SMS providers, such as FastSMS. or messagebird (google will provide their we addresses), which allow sms sending  via API's and gateways rather than sim in handsets. and is also costed at from less than 2p a text (for somalia its £0.017 per text) etc 

o2 and any other mobile network isnt the best solution for this at all..
