You should be able to get 4g on both AT&T or T Mobile whilst in the USA.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)

You might also be eligible for O2 Travel Inclusive (depending on your tariff).
See here for help https://www.o2.co.uk/international/travel-inclusive-zone or here for normal O2 travel rates https://www.o2.co.uk/shop/international/using-phone-abroad

Got back from Flordia on Monday. I was on AT&T from Sunday to Friday and then switched to T-Mobile for the rest of the week. Got 4G on AT&T and 4G+ on T-Mobile but I have to say roaming speed were really bad sometimes not even getting 1mb. So things like Facebook, Dinsey and Universal apps were slow to access. Snapchat wouldn't even work had to use Wi-Fi for that.
