Returning an upgrade

Hi there, I’ve been trying for a week to get hold of O2 to exchange an upgrade I got as I’m not happy with the phone.
Every day it says the phone lines are busier than usual and I’m on hold for half hour or more before giving up.
I’ve only got 7 days left before I won’t be able to exchange it. Does anyone know of any other way of doing this?

You need to call customer service
Advice from an O2 Guru to get through:
If you call 202, when it comes to the reason you are calling stay silent for 15 seconds and you will be taken to the keypad options.
Press 2 for Everything Else
Press 5 for More Options
Press 7 for Anything Else which will put you though to someone.
Choose the fraud option if necessary

Press 2 for Everything Else

Press 5 for More Options

Press 7 for Anything Else which will put you though to an advisor.

Press Upgrade, Lost/Stolen if you have to.
