Hi, Is there anyway I can retrieve a thread of text messages (sent to one mobile number only - I still have the number - it is still in use by that owner). Sent on my Samsung Messages app about 5 to 6 years ago. Sent over time on my two previous Samsung phones (now out of use) one retained by me (old and currently out of reach but factory reset since Text sent and Text gone ?). The other gone and immediately remotely wiped by Samsung. My current phone is Samsung, my mobile number the same (unchanged). On my o2 Pay Monthly Plan, that is a previous one to my current Pay Monthly, but was probably by then run past its two year and so out of contract. Or maybe in my next two year contract (I did let one or both run over)
I have not asked o2 directly yet !
My I.T skills are still a bit basic !
I do not have access to a Desktop !
Is this the correct community for me to pose this question to ?
Thank you

Only if the messages are on the devices mentioned. Networks don't keep SMS messages once delivered and even if not delivered they expire after a few days

This is not O2 and we are all customers here similar to yourself and cannot answer account type queries.
