Hi,

My I Phone XS has just gone faulty. The screen went green then completely black. It is still on as I can hear it chimming but I can not seen anything on the screen. I've tried pressing the volume up button, then down button then holding the power button as advised on you tube but this has not worked.

It's 8 months old so still under warranty. I need it fixing ASAP as I work in a hospital - I'm currently using my old phone that has a cracked screen and don't how long it will last as the shards of glass are slowly coming off.

Where do I send it to get it fixed please? I can't seem to find any phone numbers to call to discuss repair. Would you be able to send me a loaned phone until it is fixed? Thanks.

Or Apple https://www.apple.com/uk/retail/geniusbar/

As no shops are open currently, O2 would not be able to loan you a phone.

I'm not sure apple stores are open but have a look on the Apple community. There are sections about the black screen problem.

But I think the video link will sort it for you.

There is an option with Apple to live chat if that's working at all?

Thanks for the advice but I have tried the steps in the video but it has not worked. Do you know of any contact details/email address for O2 that might be in still manned during this time?

You're better off talking to Apple.
