Did you get any joy in the end? We are the same. Requested O2 unlock an old iPhone out of contract, twice, firstly by phone (unsuccessful) and then via live chat (again unsuccessful). 165 hours later, it is still locked. It is ridiculous and why on earth does it take so long as 72 hours anyway? Prob going to have to find somewhere to unlock it instead. So annoying!!!
