Purchase of phone locked to O2

I’ve purchased a phone for my wife who is a NHS nurse working long hours and extremely stressed
To find that this 2nd hand phone is locked to O2 and we need it on Sky where we’ve got an account
How do I get this unlocked ASAP

Thanks for this but this is for O2 users I’m not and brought the phone through an independent retailer

You would have to use a P&G sim

O2 won't unlock if it hasn't been used on the network by you or the previous seller

Why did you buy one locked to o2 if you wanted to use it on Sky?
I would go back to the retailer and ask for an unlocked phone...
