Price Increase on new contract

I’m currently on a sim only contract up until June 2023 but I’m looking at upgrading my phone and taking out a new contract for £42 a month. Will this price stay the same throughout the contract term or will it increase in April 2023 along with the price increase? Thank you for any advice

It will increase in April and it's going to be quite hefty this year.

Last year it was only contracts taken out after 25th March that were exempt 

Remember, the rise is on the airtime plan and not device payments so you may be able to work it out. I'm expecting circa 15%
