Poor Voice Call Reception

Anonymous
Not applicable

As a family we have four 02 phones at home all with next to no voice call, 2g,3g,4g coverage.  The checker says we should get a good signal.  I am also trying to run a business from home and clients struggle to contact me on my mobile.  Been on TuGo for maybe two years and it's so unreliable that it's unusable, I'd estimate one in ten calls gets completed without an issue, and that's with a 40Mps fibre optic Wifi connection.

I have tried other providers (but not their boosters if they have them) but their signal is no better, I just seem to be in a dead zone.  Please, any suggestions of what I could do to get a decent mobile signal would be greatly appreciated.

As you run a business I assume you have a business account?
In which case you can call 8002 and talk to CS about getting a boostbox.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

@Anonymous If you're trying to run a business from home and are dependent on a reliable signal you really should consider using a land line. Old school, I know, but there are times when new technology just doesn't cut it.

Well, I have a landline phone for my business of course, but being out and about a lot, clients need my mobile and then use it all the time instead of the landline!

My phone contracts are all currently on a personal basis so I am going to change one of them into a business account so I then qualify for a boost box.  I have tried already to contact CS but waiting 45mins to speak to a human is way too long!

Thanks all for the tips!

Just remember a boost box will only help with coverage in your house and can only have a limited number of handsets associated (3g only)

I thought that tugo was getting better (own experience) But I guess it depends on handset and version of tugo in use

P.s. You can only switch to business if out of contract on one of the handsets
