Had a call from a company called Plan.com who knew that i was with O2 and that i was self-employed, no more than that. They claimed to be under O2/ worked alongside them. They offered me a ‘business deal’ which was much cheaper than what i’m currently on. I didn’t give any more details and asked them to call me back after i’d done some more research into them for peace of mind.

I was wondering if anyone else had had a similar call from them or if they are genuinely part of a broader O2?

@SophC DO NOT accept any deals from cold callers, whether they say they're from O2 or not. If you search the forum you will see the many problems people encounter by doing this.

@SophC block the number immediately so they can't call you back. The only ones who will gain anything by the deal will be them .

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)

Sounds like another so called trusted partner. Do not accept anything from them or any cold calls

not as far as i know. Currently trying to cancel a new contract sold to me (under the 14-day rule) during a cold call. I've phoned them twice already today and have been promised a call back. The 1st one never happened, and i'm not hopeful about the 2nd. The person i spoke to most recently said their office was open until 6pm. (how do i get out of this mess?)

@KathyW  We're all customers here and can't deal with account issues. You need to speak to O2 customer service as soon as you possibly can.
Call 202 from your mobile or 0344 809 0202, 0800 902 0217 or 0800 032 1402 from any phone or numbers here: Guide: Coronavirus Community Help and Support
When it comes to the reason you are calling, stay silent for 15 seconds and you will be taken to the keypad options.
Press 2 for Everything Else
Press 5 for More Options
Press 7 for Anything Else which will put you though to someone.
Say 'Upgrade', 'Lost/Stolen', or 'Fraud' if the suggestion above doesn't get you through.
Best time to call is 8 am.
You can also reach O2 via social media:
Facebook (https://o2uk.co/O2CFB), Twitter (https://o2uk.co/O2CTW), or Instagram (https://o2uk.co/O2CIG)
Or you can call them on 0800 081 0255
