I am trying to change providers. My O2 account terminated on 14th August and I then discovered my phone was locked to O2. I spoke to O2 on 14th and they assured me that my phone would be unlocked within 72 hours. My phone is still locked 5 days later ! I have spoken to many O2 agents, all with different excuses and now I am told they have no idea when my phone will be unlocked but should be sometime this year (the latest excuse is they "have an enormous backlog of unlock requests")! I can no longer get a sim to work in my phone and am having trouble working and staying in touch with people. Can anyone help me? I've read some previous topics on this issue and saw @EmilieT might be able to help? Thanks.

Hi @Daisy
Yes everyone appears to be having problems with unlocking their phones
As you have noticed our community admin @EmilieT seems to be the only person who can help customers with this. If you come back to the thread tomorrow, no doubt she will be asking you for some details
Best of luck
