Hi All,
Does everyone take advantage of the phone insurance or not bother just interested to know a majority for info
Also is it easy to cancel or is it part of the contract when you sign up at the beginning
Thanks in advance 🤗

Sorry @Mushty I didn't realise you already had the insurance. I thought you were just enquiring about taking it with a new phone.

@Mushty Insurance for your phone is an option and not part of the contract, but if you're purchasing a very expensive phone it's a smart thing to have, but O2's insurance isn't your only choice. If you have contents insurance on a home policy you are probably already covered. If not, if you Google it you will find many companies offering policies. You can also find out if your bank covers you. The choice is yours.

Thank you @Bambino
That's interesting as I just tried to register a short term power of attorney was told I could but no point because there is nothing I could do to
reduce the bill, turns out as you say, I can reduce tariffs and remove insurance cover
Thank you I will ring them again tomorrow and advise the advice was incorrect.
Thank you for all your help

@Mushty

You can cancel at anytime but must give 30 days notice.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
