As part of purchasing my daughter a new phone (Christmas present) I upgraded the tariff from a 1Gb per month limit to 5Gb. She is currently using her old phone (Santa hasn't been yet ) but the new tariff with 5Gb limit is active. The old phone is still showing her data usage against the 1Gb data limit not 5Gb. Why? Shouldn't it now show a 5Gb limit?

If you're talking about the data section in the phone settings, you need to change it yourself to 5gb.
If it's not showing in your MyO2, you need to contact O2 to check.
If you message O2 on Facebook (https://o2uk.co/O2CFB) , Twitter (https://o2uk.co/O2CTW) or Instagram (https://o2uk.co/O2CIG) , they should be able to help you with this.

Thanks. It was so long ago I'd forgotten I'd set that on the phone. The MyO2 tariff is correct.
