Pac code oromised but not received.

Anonymous
Not applicable
After 2 years of poor service and lack of signal I have had enough if O2.Yesterday I rang 202 to give 30 days notice to leave. I was promised I would receive a text with my PAC code. I assumed this would be immediate, but have still not received it. How long does this usually take, and If I ring them again will they be able to give me this over the phone ?

You should ring 202 and request your PAC again. They should be able to text it to you almost immediately. Once you have your PAC you don't need to give 30 days notice. You just need to give your PAC to your new provider. That automatically cancels your O2 contract. There's usually an overlap, but you will be refunded what you haven't used. Don't cancel your Direct Debit with O2 until you get a final bill.

Usually comes through whilst you are still on the call.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
