PAC codes

Are PAC codes unique to a network provider?  I ported my number to my O2 account but I have changed my mind and want to port it to another network provider but it's still within the 30 day period of the original PAC code - customer services said I need to use the same PAC code to port the number out but I don't think that is possible, is it?  if not how can I get another PAC code from o2

If the number has been ported into O2 then you will need a PAC from them to port out again. If you merely changed your mind and your number is still with the originating network then the PAC is still valid for 30 days from issue.

Your PAC is unique to you - it doesn't matter which network you move to.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)

It was customer services - I tried Live chat and they said I had to call 202

The number has already been ported to 02 - but 02 said they couldn't give me a new PAc as the old one was still valid

You need to just give the PAC to your new network then if it's still within the 30 days since it was issued.

Is that correct?  I had understood that a number was unique to a network so that you couldn't use a vodafone generated number to port from O2 and vice versa
