Why not get it before it changes to PAYG?
It's free to call 202 whilst in contract and your code is valid for 30 days.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)

No. You have to call CS. From a Pay & Go phone will cost you 25p.

I was a little puzzled by that too. Why switch sims if all you want is your PAC?

For what it's worth.... with the info given by the op...I read it that the PAC was a 'red herring' as they just appear to be swapping from O2 contract to payg...(as no other network was mentioned). However...until they come back, who knows for sure? Confused

Now I'm even more confused. @jonsie may very well be correct. @Anonymous would you please come back to this post and clarify? Do you want a PAC because you're leaving O2 and want to go to another provider, or are you just switching from a Pay Monthly contract to Pay & Go?
