Hello everyone,

I recently was in holiday in Turkey. As soon as I landed and I received the text with the charges for roaming I turned my phone back on Airplane mode and now I found out I have to pay for an extra charge of £35 for data used abroad. How is this even possible? I find this outrageous. I couldn’t have used 11 mb of data at 2 am when I landed and considering the charges I would not have used it in the first place!!! What do you advise me to do?

@Roa 11mb would have been used easily prior to you turning on airplane mode.
You could try calling customer service and see if they will reduce the charges for you though.
