Hello all - I wonder if anyone can assist.
I have just upgraded my old O2 monthly phone contract to become an ipad.
This means allow the sim (and phone number) as now associated with the ipad, i have lost the phone element of it.
I hadnt thought it through and there are some emergency services linked to my elderly aunt and many other places that know my number, so i was wondering if i could get the number moved to an O2 payg sim?
Does anyone have any experience of this?
Thank you all.
*** apparently it is just bad luck. I should have thought about it before upgrading. My bad. Nevermind.

Hi @squonk63 Have you contacted CS about this? http://www.o2.co.uk/contactus You could've kept your number using this route http://www.o2.co.uk/help/phones-sims-and-devices/how-to-keep-your-mobile-number
but if you have already used the new number the only way would be to contact Customer Services
