So i ordered two phones for my parents a week before christmas (my other present fell through) and they were in stock when i paid for them and i got the confirmation email that my order was confirmed and would later be processed and then half an hour later i get another email to say both phones where out of stock with no indication of when i may receive them…?! Does anyone know if this is a matter of weeks type of situation or could it be late january/february before i get them???

O2's stock management system is renowned for that type of thing, @chaz91210 - until you get the e-mail confirming order is on its way, the only thing to do is wait.
The e-mail used to say: "You can track the progress of your order at My O2. Just go to
www.o2.co.uk/myo2 and enter your username and password. If you've
forgotten these, we can send you a reminder here too. Once you've signed
in, go to My Orders and follow the instructions."
You can try to contact the sales team for help – message them on Social Media if that works best for you -on
