O2 Wifi welcoming me under wrong name

Hi,

I've been an O2 user for many years, and have used O2 wifi pretty frequently.

All of a sudden, the welcome page has started to say 'Welcome back Stacey':

Costa.jpg

All very good, except that my name isn't Stacey.

Now, I'm not sure how this has happened. As far as I can remember, when I first registered with O2 wifi, I provided my O2 number and name.

I presume that someone else has registered a device since, and has probably mistyped their number.

Does anyone know how I can get this resolved?

Cheers,

SPD.

Hurrah, finally got this to work by repeatedly trying to refresh the ‘Not you’ link (I even bookmarked it).

Manage to log out and log back in again!

All sorted.

Thank you,

SPD.

At that location, got a blank page...

Just read another post that advised me to browse to 1.0.0.0 - will try that to see if it works.

Cheers,

SPD

That should fix it for you.

Sadly, it didn't.

Just popped down to my local Sainsbury's - the other O2 hotspot in town.

Get a 'Direct IP access not allowed' message.

Trying to click the 'Not you?' link presents me with a blank page.

TIA,

SPD.

I'd call customer services and have them reset it for you then.

I would put up with it if wifi is working because I doubt it will be after customer service has deleted that aacount.
