O2 Travel

I have O2 travel and in an emergency I had to use my mobile for calls and texts while in North Cyprus. I have on my return been charged for all calls and texts and I tried to live chat this morning but it keeps saying hold that thought. 

O2 travel says Cyprus is included but advisor Lloyded says its not can anyone help.

i never use my phone abroad and only did so as emergency and aftre checking O2 website for O2 travel details I went ahead.

unfortunatly north cyprus is not in the eu and will be excluded from o2 travel.

Are you payg or pay monthly?

Pay monthly. I understand now that although it says Cyprus it doesn't cover where I was. Emergency needs and all that and now to make it worse its cost me as well.

is there anything that can be done as genuine mistake.

only o2 can help there but I do not think they will help but you never know. if you are back in the uk now ring 202 and explain the issue.

note to toby / leonard this needs flagging to the web team it needs to say southern cyprus on o2 travel pages it is correct on business but not pay monthly or payg
